Thanks, Much appreciated to get content in so details.
Thanks for watching glad it was helpful!
Hi Justin, why do you define the SCCM_SQL account in the site system role installation for the connecton to the CM db but not in the SQL Report Server Configuration Manager to run the Reporting Service under? As you mentioned it is best practice to use non-virtual accounts for all sql services.
By the way – awesome guides, thanks for sharing your knowledge with the community!
Probably just forgot and left it as SYSTEM.
if you install WSUS on a different server, then what role should it have in Servers and Site System Roles.
Will it have Software update point, Component Server, Asset Intelligence syncronization point, Distribution point, Fallback status point.
The Wsus and SCCM server are located next to each other.
You should install the software update point role from SCCM on the remote site system. You will need to install and configure WSUS on the remote server first though.
Hi Justin,
Thank you for the posts. I really appreciate. However, somehow I missed the parts on how you set up the group policy. Do have a any video on how to set them up?
Thank you so much
What group policy?
