CMG is failed to convert from Classic Deployment to VMSS, it throws an error “unable to connect cloud service” is there something i am missing here.

For a task sequence, I don’t think you can get it from Microsoft. You would need to use a software update for that.

I’d like to ask you the following, is it possible to deploy a TaskSequence through CMG for Windows 10 in-place upgrade but with the option to download the content from another location (even directly from Microsoft), maybe you wonder, Why this guy wants to do that? Well, it’s because of the cost of azure, there are hundreds of computers we need to upgrade from 1803 to 2004 and the upgrade package is quite big, then the monthly Azure bill could cost a lot ( and I can lose my job :p ).
